Colwyn Bay & District Legion Club is a long-standing private members’ institution providing community-focused social and recreational services to Colwyn Bay and the surrounding Conwy coastal area.
Colwyn Bay & District Legion Club required a modern digital transformation to transition from their traditional “Royal British Legion” roots to a contemporary, community-accessible brand. They needed a platform that served as both an informational hub for existing members and an inviting gateway for new residents looking for a social home in the heart of Colwyn Bay.
The club sought a user-friendly interface that could effectively showcase their wide array of amenities—from the professional bowling green to their snooker and darts facilities. We integrated a virtual tour feature and a bespoke function room booking system, allowing users to easily explore the venue and inquire about private hire for weddings, wakes, and celebrations. The result is a vibrant, mobile-responsive site that highlights their 30+ years of community presence.
Since the launch, the club has seen a renewed interest in memberships across all demographics, from standard to OAP tiers. The website now acts as the central pulse for the club’s communications, driving footfall through clear event promotion and providing a professional online home that matches the club’s reputation for hospitality.
